New Vision Specialist Eye Clinic
is a privately owned clinic, specialized in provision of quality eye care affordable to majority of its sorrounding community. The clinic has been in operation since Sept 2013. The clinic was established with the main aim of increasing local institutions contribution in addressing avoidable blindness in the country and beyond. The Clinic has a full registration at PRIVATE HOSPITALS ADVISORY BOARD, which is under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is located at Kimweri Ave, nearby General Tyre bus stop at Msasani in Dar es Salaam. In Sept 2013, the clinic started as part time practice till July 2016, when its operations were upgraded on full time scale from 8.00 am to 3.30 pm in week days and 8.00 am to 12.30 pm on Saturdays. The clinic has competent staffs both for clinical and administrative duties and robust working systems which enable clients to be served efficiently in very clean and pleasant atmosphere. We do work on appointment basis which has shortened client’s total time spent at the clinic to be on average of 60 minutes. We are still improving our systems so that a client will spend less than 45 minutes without compromising treatment outcomes.
